Jannik Sinner: Tommy Paul tells it all about the'Azure and Carlos Alcaraz

Like so many tennis fans, Tommy Paul was also glued in front of his cell phone to follow the crazy Roland Garros final between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, which ended with the Spaniard winning in a comeback. In an interview with Tennis Channel live, the U.S. tennis player gave his thoughts on the match.
“When I’m away from tournaments I usually don’t follow much tennis, but I didn’t miss this one. I was at my girlfriend’s polo tournament and I watched it on my phone. It was an incredible match. After five hours I was still there watching it”.
“I think right now those guys are at a higher level than everybody else. People have a lot of catching up to do to catch up with them. These guys are dominating in the slams. These are the tournaments where everybody wants to give it their all, and they are best-of-three out of five sets matches. In the best of three out of five, I have a feeling that the best player always comes out most of the time”.
Paul has immense respect for Carlos and Jannik: “With Carlos last year at Wimbledon I felt that I raised my level in the first set, but at some point I felt that Carlos had reached another level yet. And the same thing goes for Sinner, he hammers the ball unbelievably. He is almost always attacking and you definitely want to avoid being on defense with these guys” concluded the number 13 seed at Wimbledon.
