Jannik Sinner reveals what he thought of Carlos Alcaraz the first time he saw him

Jannik Sinner in an interview with the official Wimbledon website had nice words for his rival Carlos Alcaraz, revealing what he thought of him the first times he saw him play, in junior tournaments and Challengers.
“There are players about whom you can tell right away if they have something special, Carlos is one of them. From a very young age, when we faced each other on the Challenger circuit and even before, you could hear the sound of his ball, how he moved and everything else”.
“You knew he was going to make it to the top, no doubt… I, for one, did not have that clear thought about myself…”, the Blue concluded wryly.
