Wimbledon, Jannik Sinner and Lorenzo Sonego fly to the third round

An evening to remember for Italy’s tennis at Wimbledon. Two Azzurri, Jannik Sinner and Lorenzo Sonego, flew to the third round of the singles tournament, imposing themselves in their respective matches practically at the same time.
The world number 1, after a clear victory in the derby with Luca Nardi in the opener, repeated again in three sets against the Australian Aleksandar Vukic.
After two one-sided partials, both closed 6-1, Sinner struggled more in the third, but a break at the right time allowed him to close the score, qualifying for the match with Pedro Martinez, who eliminated Mariano Navone.
Lorenzo Sonego, on the other hand, prevailed over Basilashvili 6-1, 6-3, 6-7, 7-6. In the fourth set in particular, he missed two match points but at the tie-break he managed to capture a fine victory.
