Ferrari, Lewis Hamilton already looks to the future and sets the'goal
On the eve of the British Grand Prix, where he has won nine times, Lewis Hamilton spoke to the media present: “There is always magic here: I don’t even need to imagine what it will be like. Silverstone is the right place to turn it around, we are working on it”.
“I am not here to start fourth and finish fourth– added the Ferrari driver. “The team wanted to secure third and fourth place, but I am not here for that. I want to fight for every inch. I do not intend to get to a point where I have to ignore [team orders ed.] and that is why we are working to improve our communication”.
The SF-25 underwent upgrades to the bottom in Austria that helped the Englishman score fourth place at Spielberg: “A step forward that gives me confidence. Charles has found a way to drive it, I am trying other directions. I got closer to him, but it is a difficult balance to find and even more so to drive”.
“Definitely not what I am looking for in the future. I want the 2026 car to have my DNA. I am working with Loic [Serra ed.] and all the guys in the factory to make it happen” concluded Hamilton.
