Filippo Inzaghi, Palermo’s new coach, gave an’interview to ‘Torretta Caffè’, the rosanero club’s talk show, in which he also talked about his brother Simone, who left Inter Milan after four years to move to Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal.

“These are personal matters. The only thing I know is that Simone decided after the Champions final –he stressed -, because sometimes you read nonsense. He had not decided anything. There were requests, there were not only those, but he always gave priority to Inter”.

“I think that after four years and especially in the last three, after reaching two Champions League finals, he probably thought that more could not be done – he added ‘Superpippo’ -. He will go for a different and formative experience. Then, in two years, he will return to Europe and continue to do in our parts what he has done so far”.

He concludes on his new adventure: “From the day I learned that I would be the Palermo coach, I feel responsibility. I feel it every day. It is clear that here is something special. I understood from my Instagram what it means to coach Palermo, since it is clogged and I can’t even open it. I feel very empowered and very charged. I can”t wait to fill the Barbera and make others understand how difficult it is to play against us”.
