Lecce scouts bomber in France but competition is strong

Timothé Nkada experienced a turning point in his career last season. The striker, who will turn 26 on July 20, who grew up in the Rennes youth sector and has already passed through five other clubs in his career, after a stint in Slovenia at Koper returned to France last summer, where he had a full season with Rodez, marked by 17 goals and 5 assists in Ligue 2.
His performances in the French cadet series have not gone unnoticed at Lecce but also in Germany, where at least two Bundesliga clubs have already inquired about his situation.
Cologne, newly promoted this summer, and Hoffenheim are now reportedly seriously considering a move for the player, under contract until 2027 and considered a possible market opportunity. Rodez would be willing to open to a transfer for as low as €2.5-3 million.
