A former Euroleague player for the Legnano Knights: Cizauskas arrives

Legnano Knights’ Series A pickup, who sign Vytenis Cižauskas, a Lithuanian guard who grew up in the Žalgiris nursery.

In March 2009 he was promoted to the first team by Žalgiris, but with limited space in the LKL. After leaving the club, he played for several Lithuanian teams before moving on loan to CB Valladolid in Liga ACB. In September 2013 he returned to Žalgiris, making his Euroleague debut, before moving in 2014 to BK Valmiera in Latvia and in 2022 to Boulazac Basket Dordogne in LNB Pro B.

With the Lithuanian youth national team he won five gold medals: European Youth Summer Olympic Festival U-15 (MVP in 2007), European U-16 (2008), European U-18 (2010), World U-19 (2011) and European U-20 (2012). He was also a candidate for the senior national team for EuroBasket 2013.

Grade 1992, 1.88 tall, Cižauskas is a guard with solid offensive talent, capable of holding career averages above 10 points. Last season he produced 12.7 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists per contest, with a remarkable 46 percent from three-point range.
