Gianmarco Pozzecco has no doubts about Peppe Poeta’s future
Gianmarco Pozzecco spoke on Eurodevotion about Peppe Poeta’s return to Olimpia Milano, as Ettore Messina’s assistant, after the Scudetto final he reached as head coach of Brescia.
“This year I’ve always followed him with great interest. He played beautiful basketball and not at all easy to complete. I am intrigued by Lisalo, a very intelligent one in taking his players through the various steps one after another. Of course, you also have to be lucky enough to be able to do that. And this is a theme I am happy to touch on, that of level growth”.
“I am extremely happy for the Italian coaches, many of whom I have worked with while by no means considering myself one of the reasons for their success. But let it not be said that it is just a matter of empathy and emotional management because these are coaches who really know what to do”.
“Which coach would I be coached by? I say Peppe because I like his basketball and I am sure he is going to be great. And I will name you Jasikevicius again, as well as Obradovic”.
