Marc Marquez at Sachsenring fears mostly himself

Marc Marquez is preparing for a weekend in theory extremely favorable for him: that of the German Grand Prix. Indeed, the Catalan has to his credit a frightening roster on the Sachsenring, a track that has even seen him win on eleven consecutive occasions between 2010 and 2021 (the first in Class 125, then two in Moto2 and eight in a row in MotoGP). But for that very reason the ruler of the 2025 teme from himself drops in concentration, as has already happened in recent months.

“This year it seems that I manage to collect maximum points on tracks that I find difficult, while I make mistakes on my favorites – admitted with the press Marquez, referring to the falls that occurred in that of Austin and Jerez de la Frontera -. I will need maximum concentration to take advantage of these experiences and make full loot”.

“At Sachsenring I have won a lot in the past, and this is true – Marquez later recalled -. However, it is also true that in recent years I have fallen, it happened both in 2023 and 2024. And I have also been injured. So I will need calm and patience to do my best. The most important thing is to score points, and to score as many as possible”.

“The fact is that when we get to Sachsenring the expectations are always very high, it is like that every year. I will certainly do everything to do my best, which means fighting for victory. However, I will also have to evaluate well the conditions of the track, the weather and also the championship” concluded Marquez.
