After Jannik Sinner’s success against Carlos Alcaraz in the final of the Wimbledon men’s tournament, many people went wild on social media, and, as always, there was no shortage of controversy.

Not only the result won by the South Tyrolean tennis player was discussed, but there are those who also called into question Minister for Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi, who was not present at the final act of the London tournament. Many have joked wondering what Abodi had better to do than to be present at a moment that could have become historic for tennis at home, as then in fact happened.

Sinner, in fact, beating Alcaraz became the first Italian tennis player to win on the grass of Wimbledon, a moment that for many should also have been consecrated by the presence of at least one member of Giorgia Meloni’s government. So instead it was not.
