Luka Modric has landed in Italy, first words as Milan player

Luka Modric has landed in Milan. The’former Ballon d’d’Or, fresh from the Club World Cup that coincided with his farewell to Real Madrid, has in fact arrived in the Milan capital to officially link up with AC Milan.

Before putting everything down in black and white, although there has been no doubt about it for weeks now, at 12:40 p.m. Modric reached La Madonnina, a clinic in the Porta Romana area of Milan where he underwent medical examinations.

“I am very happy to be here, great challenges await me”, the first words of the 39-year-old Croatian who will sign a one-year contract, valid until June 30, 2026.

Modric after this first contact with Italy will leave for vacation. From the beginning of August he will then make himself available to Massimiliano Allegri, in time for the start of the championship.
