Samuele Bernardini between passion, sacrifice and pride: "Ready to represent Italy"

There will also be Samuele Bernardini to represent Italy in the Six Days of Enduro to be held in Bergamo next August 24-29. An important opportunity that the 30-year-old born in Arezzo, summoned together with Andrea Verona, Morgan Lesiardo and Matteo Pavoni in the Trophy class, wants to exploit to the fullest: Sportal.it interviewed Bernardini himself at Airoh headquarters in Almenno San Salvatore (Bergamo).
“I wasn“t born an enduro rider – admitted Bernardini -, I came from motocross and I didn’t imagine at the beginning to switch to this discipline. But now it’s four years that I have been racing in Enduro, I’m second in the World Championship, I want to try to get a great result. It would be nice to end the year with a big win, that’s the goal.
Samuele Bernardini has been riding motorcycles since an early age: a passion that has taken him completely year after year, leading him to favor racing on the particular Motocross tracks first and then Enduro: “Racing on the road? I even thought about it when I was a kid, then I realized that I liked the mud much better. I don”t think I will go back to change”.
The’anticipation for the Six Days of Enduro in Bergamo is great: “Racing not only for yourself but for a whole nation is quite a burden– explained the 1995 class centaur -. There will be four of us in the same team, and our goal will be to carry the Italian flag as high as possible. The fact of competing in Italy charges us: it can be a stress, but we will turn it into positive energy”.
