Lorenzo Musetti promptly eliminated in comeback in D.C.

Lorenzo Musetti was quickly eliminated from the Washington ATP 500. The Tuscan, world number 7, was defeated by Britain’s Cameron Norrie in two hours and 6 minutes.
The final score of 3-6 6-2 6-3 gives a good idea of how the match went, with Musetti immediately breaking his opponent to take a 2-0 lead in the first set but from the second suffered the comeback that cost him elimination.
Norrie will now face U.S. Brandon Nakashima while Musetti will have to start thinking about the next concrete tournament in this busy North American summer culminating with the Us Open.
