Roger Federer: clothes from last match end up at museum

A historic event, so much so that it went straight to the museum.

Roger Federer left tennis playing a memorable doubles match at the Laver Cup, teaming up with eternal opponent but longtime friend Rafa Nadal. He did so wearing an outfit that has already become historic, and which now all fans will be able to admire: it will in fact be on display at the museum.

Specifically, shirt, shorts and shoes worn by Federer in the circumstance have been displayed in London, in the showcases of the International Tennis Hall of Fame. In addition, there is also a copy of the letter in which he announced his retirement, and which the Swiss star personally signed.

“We consider this display at the International Tennis Hall of Fame the most fitting tribute to the last chapter of an extraordinary career. And we want to express our colossal gratitude to Roger Federer for this loan, and for offering to help us in our mission to preserve tennis history,” commented Todd Martin, CEO of the ITHF.
