Tour de France 2025: the general classification after the Mont Ventoux stage

The spectacular sixteenth stage of the Tour de France 2025, finishing on the infamous Mont Ventoux, ended with Frenchman Valentin Paret-Peintre winning, ahead of breakaway companion Ben Healy, second. Third place for Santiago Buitrago.

Tadey Pogacar repelled all attacks by Jonas Vingegaard and the Visma team and remained in the yellow jersey.

The Slovenian finished the stage just ahead of his Danish rival, who is 4 minutes and 13 seconds behind in the general classification. Simone Velasco, 49th, is the first Italian in the overall standings.
