Roma, goleada victory: Evan Ferguson immediately signs a poker
Goleada signed also and above all by Evan Ferguson’s latest arrival for Roma in the second test of the season before the various trips around Europe.
The Irish striker in fact scored four goals in the 9-0 thrashing in Trigoria against the Serie D side UniPomezia. Also doing well was the other new purchase El Aynaoui, author of one of the other Giallorossi goals along with Dybala, Celik, Baldanzi and Arena.
Born in Bettystown on Oct. 19, 2004, Ferguson is the first Irish footballer in Roma’s history. He grew up in Bohemian FC and was transferred to Brighton in the Premier League in 2021. In January 2025 he went on loan to West Ham.
With the Ireland senior national team, he made his debut in November 2022 and has scored 4 goals in 18 appearances so far. Between club and national team, he has collected a total of 103 appearances and 21 goals. Ferguson has chosen the number 11 jersey.
