Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Antonelli’s disbelief over mistakes made

Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Antonelli are dismayed by the mistakes they made (spin for enterambi) in the sprint qualifying of the Belgian Grand Prix at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. Here are the words of Ferrari’s Briton and Mercedes’ Italian.
“I spun at the chicane, I think it’s the first time I have a lock on the rear – explained Hamilton, bitterly -. I don’t rate the car great, I don’t have any positive feeling, it’s frustrating. There’s a lot of work behind it and to do that hurts. We will see what happens tomorrow”.
“I lost it suddenly when I went on the gas and I have to see if it was the wind or the tire temperature. Too bad because the lap was good. Tomorrow, however, there’s another qualification”” Antonelli recoiled.
Something good is seen by Frederic Vasseur at Sky Sports microphones after Charles Leclerc’s fourth place: “He did a good lap, we are in Verstappen’s wake. Piastri is flying, but let’s focus on ourselves because we have room for improvement. Suspension? We have to turn to understand them better, but we are on the right track. Everyone brings upgrades, not necessarily worth positions in the standings“.
Finally, Oscar Piastri’s joy after winning the sprint pole: “The car has been fantastic all day and when it is like that driving is a real pleasure, commented the world leader, who, however, entered Q3 by a whisker after his best time had been cancelled for exceeding track limits.
