Dimitrijevic’s adventure with the jersey of Olimpia Milano has ended in the worst way. The Macedonian has terminated the contract that bound him to the white and red club at the end of a’year that, after a great start (MVP of the Italian Supercup), ended very badly, with the playmaker ended up di out of coach Messina’s rotation.

Who arrived with high expectations, the 27-year-old point guard has struggled to establish himself in the’EA7. In his official Euroleague debut, he failed to get the space he hoped for and, in the end, raised the white flag.

As soon as he was done with Olimpia Milan, Dimitrijevic immediately found another team ready to invest in his talent, namely Zenit St. Petersburg, which, in a short time, immediately found an agreement with the Macedonian.

The playmaker, now a former Olimpia Milano, signed a two-year contract with Zenit St. Petersburg for a total of 2.5 million euros. A decidedly interesting signing for a guy who wants to prove coach Messina first and foremost wrong about him. Only time will tell if with the Macedonian there’s been a bit too much haste in judging him or if, as a rookie, he was unable to handle the pressure of a prestigious club like Olimpia Milano.
