F1, Belgian GP: Verstappen beats Piastri and Norris in Sprint, 4th Leclerc

Max Verstappen’s masterpiece in the Sprint Race of the Belgian Grand Prix. The Dutch driver, who started from second position, overtook poleman Oscar Piastri as early as the first lap and held the lead throughout the race, stoically defending himself against the Australian’s repeated attacks.
Piastri thus had to settle for second place, followed by teammate Lando Norris, with two McLarens on the podium. Fourth place went to the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc, who was ahead of Esteban Ocon (Haas).
The other Haas of rookie Oliver Bearman finished seventh, just behind the Williams of Carlos Sainz, sixth. Completing the top 10 are Isack Hadjar (Racing Bulls), Gabriel Bortoleto (Kick Sauber) and Liam Lawson (Racing Bulls). Race to forget for Lewis Hamilton, 15th, and Kimi Antonelli, 17th.
