New adventure in Serie A for Emil Audero

After returning to Como from loan to Palermo, with whom he disupted the second part of last season in Serie B, Emil Audero was again turned over on loan by the Larian club, this time to another Serie A club, newly promoted Cremonese. The grigiorosso club confirmed the Indonesian-Italian goalkeeper‘s arrival on Sunday.
“U.S. Cremonese announces that it has acquired on a temporary basis with option rights the sports performance of the footballer Emil Audero from Como 1907” reads the note of the grigiorossa club, which therefore has found the’alternative to Pierluigi Gollini, initially approached precisely to Cremonese before the negotiations with Roma finally broke down.
A class of 1997, born to an Indonesian father and an Italian mother, Audero grew up in the Juventus youth team, with which he won the Primavera Super Cup in 2013. Passed to the first team in 2016-2017, he defended the Bianconeri goal only once, in the last league match against Bologna (2-1 to Juve). In the summer of 2017, he then moved on loan to Venezia.
With the lagooners he played one season in B before moving, outright, to Sampdoria, where instead he played for five seasons before joining Inter for a year and choosing, in 2024, Como. With the Larian club he played 8 league games in 2024-2025, before moving on loan to Palermo, with whom he reached the playoffs stopping in the first round.
