Zinedine Zidane has not coached since 2021. After ending his long adventure at the helm of Real Madrid (the third winningest coach in the history of the blancos with 11 trophies), the former star of, among others, Juventus and Real Madrid itself, could return to the bench.

According to l’Équipe, the chances of seeing him lead the French national team after the conclusion of the next World Cup are growing, regardless of the results achieved by the Blues now coached by coach Deschamps (no longer so popular among the French)

It seems that the’former Real Madrid coach, although without declaring it, is already preparing for his next coaching job. According to the French media, at a recent event attended by several players of 1998 World Champion France (Deschamps was not present, busy elsewhere), all of Zizou’s former teammates reportedly pointed to the fantasist himself as the new coach of the transalpine national team.

The French Federation has long been pushing for Zinedine Zidane to lead the Blues. Beloved in his homeland, he is a true legend, thus the right man to take charge of the talented French national team. After being approached in recent years by so many clubs, now it seems that this is it: Zizou is ready to return to the bench but only for his beloved France.
