In Vignate, in the province of Milan, on the occasion of the inauguration of the new headquarters of Reusch, more than 90 years of history and a recognized leadership in the production of sports gloves, swimming star Simona Quadarella, the company’s ambassador, also spoke with Sportal.co.uk about Jannik Sinner.

“I’ve never played tennis, so I don’t know how it would go if I challenged him (laughs, ed.) – he said. “It would be fun, though. I like about him that he is very self-aware, he knows what he can do and also where he needs to improve. Even when he loses, he knows how to get right back up. He is very determined, and in my opinion this is one of the most important qualities an athlete can have.”

“When champions emerge in sports other than soccer, which always remains at the center of everything, you begin to understand more how hard we work as well,” he added. “It’s not that soccer players don’t make sacrifices, we’d miss it. But sometimes we are only seen as ‘the lucky ones who do what they love’.”
