Victory with poker for Avellino and Pescara, also unlocks Padua

Sunday’s Serie B gave goals and excitement, with two teams able to win their respective matches with as many poker tricks. These are Avellino and Pescara, which lift their respective less-than-exhilarating rankings by going on to win respectively on the field of Carrarese 4-3 and at home against an Empoli in enormous difficulty as demonstrated by the 4-0 final. Three points also for Padova, which unblocked itself by thrashing Virtus Entella 2-1 at home.

Difficult and important the away and comeback victory of Avellino, which on the field of Carrarese answered twice to the advantage of the hosts (after Abiuso at 16′ scored Cresci at 18′, after Cicconi penalty at 25′ there’s the goal of Ruggeri at 37′ with the Irpini moreover in ten for the second yellow received by Enrici). The guests also took the lead at 45′ with Karic, and the first half ended with the Var denying the equalizer to Bortolussi for offside. In the second half, the Ligurians lost Tiritiello to expulsion, and the same Bortolussi equalized from the penalty spot at 52′. The winning goal came instead at 74′, thanks to Harder.
