Pecco Bagnaia crowns Marc Marquez in advance

Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia on the eve of the Japanese Grand Prix spoke about his teammate Marc Marquez, who can become world champion in Motegi. Here are the words of the Turin-based Ducati rider.

“He is definitely the’only rider who has been able to make a difference. Especially with the GP25: he was the’only one who could ride it 100 percent. He had almost an unrivaled championship, never had any thoughts from anyone and was unbeatable”.

“In the Misano tests I did an unconventional job, it was not a given that we could replicate it in Motegi as well, but Ducati made it so and so we will try to follow that path”.

“I hope I can return to riding with the same feeling I felt in the Misano tests and not be carried around by the bike or be forced to ride defensively. Also because, if I were to have the same problems I have experienced throughout the year, this track would be a nightmare like Barcelona. I will understand what my weekend will be like as early as the first free practice session”.
