ATP 500 Beijing, Lorenzo Sonego can do nothing against Alexander Zverev

Lorenzo Sonego, world number 44, was beaten in the first round of the ATP 500 on the Beijing concrete by German Alexander Zverev, number 3, with a score of 6-4 6-3.

A single break ball decided the first set, and it was also a set point, the one with which Zverev won the first partial by snatching service at 15 from Sonego, who had also been the only one forced to the advantages, moreover in three out of four turnovers.

From 1-1 in the second set Lorenzo lost four consecutive games, at 5-1 he regained one of the two breaks of disadvantage but at 5-3 nothing and Zverev won the match after an hour and a half of play holding serve at 15.
