Varese Basketball has decided to armor one of its most precious jewels: Olivier Nkamhoua. The Finnish forward, protagonist at the last EuroBasket with the national team and already finished in the sights of several European bigs, has been declared incedible. The club’s response came clear and immediate: “He is not for sale”.

The attempt to snatch Nkamhoua from Varese was motivated by the physical problems that are affecting some of the continent’s top teams, driven to search the market for immediate reinforcements in his role. But for the red and white club, there is no room for negotiation: the player represents a key piece within an ambitious and well-defined project, built with clear ideas and a long-term vision.

Nkamhoua, who has distinguished himself not only by a complete offensive repertoire but also by his winning mentality, perfectly embodies the identity that coach Kaštritis wants to imprint on the team. He is not just a talent, but the face of a new Varese that aims high, without giving in to market enticements.
