Jannik Sinner vs. Carlos Alcaraz: victory is worth a mountain of money

We are less and less away from the highly anticipated final between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, who will compete Saturday night on the indoor concrete of ‘The Venue’ in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the final act of the Six Kings Slam.
The tournament-exhibition is lavish: the winner will be awarded a check for six million U.S. dollars. Last year Jannik Sinner managed to win, this year he will have to defend his title against archrival Carlos Alcaraz.
There are 15 previous matches between the South Tyrolean and the Murcian, who leads 10-5: the most recent, of course, dates back to the Us Open final, which saw Alcaraz prevail in four sets, avenging Jannik’s victory, also in four sets, at Wimbledon.
To advance to the final, Jannik Sinner had to overcome the’Novak Djokovic obstacle in the semifinals. After his victory over Nole (6-4 6-2 the match score) he wrote on social media: “It feels great to be back on the court, I am really happy with the match. It is always a great honor and privilege to share the court with Novak Djokovic. Thank you all for the incredible support, see you in the final!””.
Thousands of fan comments: in the Six Kings Slam there are no Atp points up for grabs, but the match between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz always generates so much anticipation among tennis fans and beyond.
The match, which will follow the final for third and fourth place between Novak Djokovic and Taylor Fritz, will be viewable exclusively on Netflix.
