MLS: eternal Lionel Messi, also takes home Golden Boot 2025

The’former Barcelona and PSG scored a hat-trick in the match with Nashville FC (5-2 the final for the’Inter Miami), thus reaching 29 total goals, in 28 matches, in the season with the Inter Miami jersey (beaten Denis Bouanga of LAFC and Sam Surridge of Nashville SC, both second with 24 goals). Only three players, namely Carlos Vela (34), Josef MartÃnez (31) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (30), have scored more goals, in an MLS regular season than Messi’s 29.

Obviously, I think if anyone had any doubts about what his regular season was going to be like, I would say he has blown away any doubts. I think they will definitely give him the MVP award for everything he has done on the field” said Inter Miami coach Javier Mascherano.
Inter Miami is now focused on the playoffs. In the first round it will face, again, Nashville FC. With this Lionel Messi, anything seems possible, even seognare the MLS title.
