Renato Paratore and Filippo Celli to win the order of merit, Stefano Mazzoli to win one of the 20 full “cards” for the 2026 DP World Tour. After a marathon characterized by 28 events, which took place in 18 countries and 3 different continents, the HotelPlanner Tour 2025 has reached the final sprint. Everything is ready in Spain for the Rolex Grand Final supported by The R&A. The tournament will be staged, Oct. 30 to Nov. 2, at the Club de Golf Alcanada in Port d’Alcudia (Majorca). All 45 top players on the second European men’s circuit will be competing.

There will be eight – among them Romans Paratore and Celli, ranked 4th and 6th, respectively – who will compete for the Best Player award. With Lombard Mazzoli, 18th, who will try to crown his dream of climbing the DP World Tour.

Paratore, who has already won the UAE Challenge, the Abu Dhabi Challenge and the Hainan Open this year, along with South African Juan Carlo Ritchie (current No. 1, also three wins for him this season) has already earned promotion to the top European circuit by right. But Celli, who scored in the Netherlands in The Dutch Futures, is also certain of a spot. Both, will chase the feat of finishing in 1st place in the Road to Mallorca. So far, five Italians have succeeded: Giuseppe Calì (1990), Michele Reale (1997), Edoardo Molinari (2009), Andrea Pavan (2013) and Francesco Laporta (2019), with the latter two (who meanwhile from November 6 to 9 will take part in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, the first event of the DP World Tour Play-Offs) also winning the Grand Final in 2011 (in Puglia, at San Domenico Golf) and 2019 (right at Club de Golf Alcanada), respectively.

The latter two will also be competing in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, the first event of the DP World Tour Play-Offs.

Competing in the top 45 of the 2025 HotelPlanner Tour – There will be precisely 45 competitors in the field, from 17 different nations. With Ritchie, Paratore and Celli, the “Road to Mallorca,” now in its 30th edition, can also conquer the “Road to Mallorca,” which has reached its 30th edition this year: Austrian Maximilian Steinlechner (2nd), Scots David Law (3rd) and Daniel Young (8th), Frenchman Oihan Guillamoundeguy (5th) and Spaniard Sebastian Garcia (7th), who is back from his exploit in the Hangzhou Open. But all those competing will instead be able to aspire to a full “card” for the 2026 DP World Tour.

Also up for grabs is a prize pool of $500,000 and 640 points reserved for the winner. Over the years, great champions such as, among others, Denmark’s Thomas Bjorn (1995), captain of Team Europe at the 2018 Ryder Cup in Paris, Sweden’s Henrik Stenson (2000), and England’s Tommy Fleetwood (2011), who moreover triumphed in the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup this year, have also made their way through the circuit’s order of merit.
