A.C. Milan is working to reinforce the squad in a major way in January, without making the mistakes of last year, when Santiago Gimenez and Joao Feliz arrived in the repair market, which turned out to be two flop purchases. Massimiliano Allegri has indicated to Tare two priorities: a central defender and a top striker.

For the offensive department on the list are big names: two come from Juventus, Dusan Vlahovic and Jonathan David. The odds of signing the Serbian striker are falling after the player was relaunched by Spalletti: the former Fiorentina player is still given as leaving Turin, but only next June on a zero-parameter basis.

The player has been given a new role in the Milanese team.

Acc Milan could thus fall back on the Canadian striker, who has strongly disappointed in his first months under the Mole. The Bianconeri are contemplating an abrupt farewell in January after only a few months together, and Milan could be the right destination if Juve a open to a loan with right of redemption.

The Milanese team could also consider a loan deal with a right of redemption.

Then there&#8217s the Lewandowski option: the Polish striker is on his way out of Barcelona, and there would be pressure on him from Zlatan Ibrahimovic himself. On the wave of the Modric operation, the Diavolo would thus bet on another “successful oldie”. But the deal is complex and could slip to next summer.

Mauro Icardi is another name much talked about around Milanello: the’former Inter striker, now at Galatasaray, could leave Turkey in January and would be very happy to return to Milan, this time on the Rossoneri side. The Argentine forward is a cynical and experienced finisher highly regarded by Allegri, and he is finding little space in Istanbul because of a rampaging Victor Osimhen.
