Davis Cup, Matteo Berrettini: "We are a united group"

Matteo Berrettini will be among the protagonists, in two days, of the Davis Cup quarterfinal match between Italy and Austria in Bologna. Here are the words of the 29-year-old Roman.
“Being here and putting on this suit always makes me feel a great energy. Me the leader? I don’t know, I certainly have so much desire to be here, it’s always a huge pleasure.
“I understand the choices of the guys (Sinner and Musetti, ed.), they have always been there in the past years, but we are moving forward with a compact and very strong group, so much so that we left world number 26, Luciano Darderi“ at home.
“I feel an important piece for Italian tennis, the movement is very healthy, there are many of us and we stimulate each other. Sinner and Alcaraz? They are destined to play in the biggest tournaments, they have already done it this year’s. We are there to watch, learn and try to beat them when appropriate”.
