F1, Williams wears black for Las Vegas date

Only three GPs are left until the end of the long Formula 1 season. The next event is scheduled for the weekend of Nov. 22-23 in Las Vegas for one of the most glamorous events of the’entire year. Up for grabs, as known, is the World Drivers with a three-way challenge between Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen.
For the occasion, as unveiled by the British racing team itself, the team’s two single-seaters will feature a completely new and decidedly different livery than usual.
The Grove-based team will abandon the traditional blue in favor of an all-black design, developed in collaboration with one of its main sponsors.
“This striking livery is the’latest in a series of partnerships with our main sponsor, which is helping to accelerate our technological transformation and return Williams to the top. There couldn”t be a more iconic place to unveil it than in Las Vegas, one of the most technologically advanced cities in the world” said James Vowles, team principal of Williams, in the official statement released directly by the British stable. Currently starring in a decidedly positive season (fifth place in the constructors’ standings), Carlos Sainz and Alexander Albon will be “in black” in Las Vegas but the goal will be the same as always: to score as many points as possible.
