Real Madrid loses Militao again

Another stop for Eder Militao, victim of an adductor injury that will keep him in the pits for at least two weeks. The Real Madrid center back was injured in the friendly match Brazil played against Tunisia on Tuesday in France.

“After examinations carried out today on our player Éder Militão by Real Madrid’s Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury to the greater adductor of his right leg,” the white club announced.

Militao will miss at least three games with the Madrid players, starting with Sunday’s away match at the Elche ground. Nor will he be able to travel to Greece to face Olympiacos in the Champions League (Wednesday 26) or travel to Girona for the match on the 30th.

Xabi Alonso’s goal is to have the’former Sao Paulo and Porto available for the La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao on Dec. 3: however, the timeframe is also quite tight for the San Mamés game.
