Massimiliano Allegri stings Inter and reveals he was one step away from the Nerazzurri

Massimiliano Allegri spoke in a press conference on the eve of the derby: “Tomorrow will be a wonderful evening. Within the competition there’s a historical rivalry. I was off to a good start in 2010, then…”.
“We hope that it will be a good match even from the technical aspect. We meet a very strong team that together with Napoli is the favorite for the Scudetto. They have great potential up front, they are experienced and strong both technically and physically. However, the derby is always a game in itself. We have to play a very good match and we have to be more careful, not like against Parma”
“Already a crucial junction? No, Tomorrow begins the period that must lead us to March, when there will be a break for the national team that I hope goes to the World Cup, in which we will have to play for the final positions. In between we also have the Italian Cup and Super Cup competitions. Between now and March there are 20, and if we are good 22 competitions. Players have returned from the national teams and we had a good week of work”.
Allegri also revealed that he was close to Inter: “The year I came back to Juve. In one night I had to decide whether to go to Real, Inter or Juve. With Marotta I worked at Juve very well and we took great satisfaction”
“Milan underdogs in the derby? We start from 0-0. Inter is strong and is in a very good moment, but so are we. We know their qualities. They are strong physically, technically and they finish well on goal. It’s the first team in the Italian league in terms of conclusions on goal and the one that concedes the least. Attention is needed because details will make the difference”.
