Jannik Sinner method also lands in Serie A: star trains like him

Jannik Sinner is dominating the world of men’s tennis thanks to his enormous talent and the meticulous work he does daily with his staff. The South Tyrolean star always trains with great diligence and has long introduced neurocognitive work sessions into his pre-match routine. Interviewed by Corriere dello Sport, Matias Soulé’s personal trainer Guido Viggiano revealed that the young Argentine also works a lot on the neurocognitive aspect: “Before each match we carry out a warm-up with different lights, colors and materials. This creates new neural pathways and strengthens existing connections between neurons, developing the ability to perceive, analyze, decide and act quickly. To wit, it is the same kind of work that Jannik Sinner also does before every tennis match”.

Evidently the neurocognitive work is paying off: the effect on Jannik Sinner has been visible for some time and that on Matias Soulé is emerging especially this season. The young Argentine finally seems ready to take up Paulo Dybala’s legacy: “I also believe that the high tempo of the matches is doing him a lot of good – continued trainer Guido Viggiano. He is a player who, with the minutes on the field, shows what he can give to the team and, with the coach&#8217s trust, he is growing exponentially. He is doing terrific physical work with Gasperini, which is reflected in his form and intensity of play”.

“If you are not at the top physically, it is very difficult to play with him. He is one of those coaches who always asks something more from his players. Although Mati is going through a very good moment physically, I think you can always demand even more because he has all the makings of a world-class player”. Effectively Soulé has tremendous talent, which, however, in past seasons, he has struggled to showcase because of the scant minutes he has been given. This year things have changed and Roma fans see in him a future mainstay of the team.

Starting next season, the Argentine star could find even more space.Paulo Dybala’s contract is expiring and unlikely to be renewed. The player is often injured and has a very important salary for the capital club’s coffers: Dybala’s future could be in Argentina.

Boca Juniors has publicly admitted that Paulo Dybala is a target of the club and Juan Román Riquelme will do everything to bring him to Argentina next summer. As for the January market, however, the Argentine club is studying the feasibility of’buying Santiago Gimenez from AC Milan.
