Milan market, double brakes on a heavy transfer

The situation of Christopher Nkunku, who could leave the Rossoneri as early as this winter after a difficult first few months in Milan, is still holding court at Milan. The mood seems to have changed after the double at Cagliari, although the player continues to be in the sights of Fenerbahce, which wants him as early as January to reinforce its attack. Coach Domenico Tedesco himself reportedly contacted the French striker, whom he had already coached successfully in his Leipzig days, to convince him to say yes to the Turkish offer.
But Nkunku would not in truth be so convinced to move to the court of his former mentor. The ex-Chelsea French forward wants to play his cards at AC Milan and in Serie A, one of the best leagues in Europe, and remains cool on a transfer with only a few months left on his recruitment. The Diavolo after Fullkrug’s arrival would be ready to let him leave, but after paying more than €37 million for him they want a sum up to the mark, no less than €35 million. At the moment the Turks have not arrived at those figures and the road seems to have cooled down.
Sports director Igli Tare commented on the rumors about Nkunku as follows, “In this period there is a lot of speculation but the player has never been questioned, he is completing his insertion with the team and in the last few months improvements have been seen. We hope the double will give him confidence, we believe in it.” Massimiliano Allegri himself had made a similar speech in a press conference a few days ago: “I trust him, as I do all the players in the squad. Nkunku has an extraordinary technique, he works for the team and with time he is fitting in. He will have a great game.”
About Turkey, the Rossoneri are pondering a new name for the defense. Word has come from the Super Lig that there is strong interest in one of Besiktas’ most interesting players, Emirhan Topçu. The Rossoneri’s sporting director Igli Tare has reportedly enquired about the 2000-year-old central defender, who is physically strong and can also play as a left-back if needed.
Who arrived at Besiktas in 2024, Topçu has a contract until 2028 and has a market value of around 5 million euros. An affordable sum for the Rossoneri, who have their eyes on the player who has three appearances for the Turkish national team. Raised in Çaykur Rizespor, Topçu has also worn the shirts of Zenica and Menemen Belediyespor.
