Hundred, referees caught spitting

The behavior of some people present in the stands during the A2 Series match between Cento and Sebastiani Rieti (played Sunday afternoon and ended 89-82 for Benedetto XIV) costs dearly to the white-and-red club, for which the Federbasket Sports Judge has ordered a fine that takes into account, in addition to verbal offenses, also spitting at the referees.
As specified in the note released Monday by the FIP, Cento was fined 2.500 euros “for collective and frequent offenses against the referees, and, on two occasions, spitting at the referees.”
It is instead of 834 euros the fine that Biemme Service Livorno and VL Pesaro will have to pay: in the game won by Libertas against Avellino and in the one in which the Marche team overcame Urania Milano, some supporters of the two teams were involved in “collective and sporadic offenses by the fans against a clearly identified opposing athlete.”
