Charles Leclerc changes colors in 2026: the post leaves no doubt

Charles Leclerc gives his past a winterization. The Monegasque driver in 2026 is preparing to experience his eighth season with Ferrari, potentially his last since the rumors about his possible change of helmet in 2027 have been chasing each other for some time. For the moment, however, it was he himself who anticipated via social a novelty in its small epochal: a change in the coloring of his helmet, which had remained virtually unchanged throughout his entire experience under the insignia of the Prancing Horse.

Charles Leclerc is having a hard time at Ferrari.

Ferrari is not competitive.
The fast from victories lasts too long.
Leclerc has seemed to have been loyal to the Rossa.
Now though he is seriously considering the'farewell.
The 2026 will be decisive.
If the hoped-for results do not come, it will be goodbye.
Leclerc and his entourage are looking around.
The'most concrete hypothesis is the one related to McLaren.

Leclerc dreams of a winning car.
The swap could be with Piastri.
Ferrari would still have a great driver,

The’anticipation comes directly from Leclerc&#8217s official Instagram channel, on which a roundup of photographs appeared in which the Ferrari driver shows a preview of his new 2026 version racing suit and also his helmet. And while the former features a conspicuous white stripe on the side, shoulders and collar (perhaps an’anticipation of the SF-26 livery, which will not be unveiled until January 23), it is the latter that has attracted the’attention of experts and fans alike. All because of an almost absolute novelty.

Since his arrival at Ferrari as Maranello’s official driver in 2019, in fact, Leclerc has accustomed the world to appear on the track with a helmet dominated by just two colors: red and white. Typical Ferrari colors, of course, but also those that make up the flag of the Principality of Monaco. And in 2026, too, the Cavallino driver will honor his homeland, along with his flashy number 16 and the customary tribute to Jules Bianchi. This year, however, a hitherto almost unheard of celeste will also appear.

.

To be precise, it is a very light shade of blue known internationally as “baby blue”. Leclerc has decided to present it in his official 2026 helmet (at least in the version presented on Instagram) with numerous inserts that blend a bit’everywhere with the more traditional red and white that both he and Ferrari have always been accustomed to.

The latter is a very light blue.

This, too, however, is not entirely new. Leclerc had also featured light blue in the special suit and cap sported in 2025 just for the Monte Carlo Grand Prix. Another small but very visible homage to Monaco, then, which will accompany him throughout the course of a season that for him and Ferrari could turn out to be of paramount importance.
