Andrea Trinchieri returns to the bench: negotiations with a club

Former Cantù coach Andrea Trinchieri could soon return to the bench. According to rumors reported by the Greek website SDNA, the Milanese coach is reportedly in talks these days with Paok Thessaloniki, and could soon return to lead a team after a few months off.

Trinchieri for the past two years coached the Lithuanians of Zalgiris Kaunas, from which he was released last June. After his years in Cantù, the Milanese coach coached Greece and then sat on the benches of Unics Kazan, Bamberg, Partizan and Bayern Munich, before the experience in Lithuania.

Among the trophies won by Trinchieri three German championships with Bamberg, three German Cups, one with Bamberg and two with Bayern Munich, two Serbian Cups with Partizan Belgrade, and a Russian Cup with Kazan. With Zalgiris Kaunas, he won the local championship and two Lithuanian Cups in 2024 and 2025.
