Juventus market, AC Milan back in the running for Dusan Vlahovic

Accordingly, Milan is seriously trying to steal Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus. A concrete insertion, which in a short time will lead to a final decision. The Serbian striker (together with his entourage) wants to clarify his future within a couple of weeks, and this timing could favor precisely AC Milan, which in the meantime has slowed down the search for an alternative center forward (Fullkrug will not be redeemed).
In the past few days, Vlahovic received a visit from his father Milos in Turin. Besides the personal aspect, it was an opportunity to take stock after his return to the field (which came after 112 days of injury layoff). No contact, however, with Damien Comolli, who was absent from Italy during those days. Juventus, also at the urging of Luciano Spalletti, has reopened talks for the renewal, re-establishing contacts with agent Darko Ristic.
This season Vlahovic receives 12 million net, a figure linked to the indexed agreement signed in 2022. The Juventus idea is that of a short extension (about two years) but with a reduced salary, between 6.5 and 7 million per season (excluding bonuses). The commission issue, already one of the main obstacles in the past, remains to be defined. This is precisely where Milan fits in. Until a few months ago, the player’s entourage was expecting major offers from abroad, but at the end of March (also due to the long injury) these proposals did not arrive. The Rossoneri, on the other hand, did: ready to match (or even slightly improve) Juventus’ economic offer and lengthen the length of the contract (three years instead of two).
A challenging operation for the budget, but supported by two key factors: the high cost of a level striker (no less than 50 million) and the possible departure of Rafa Leao at the end of the season (which would free up resources precisely in line with the salary destined for Vlahovic). In Milan, the Serbian would find Massimiliano Allegri, formerly his coach at Juventus. A relationship that has not always been easy (also because of frequent benches, often in favor of Milik or Kean), but nonetheless significant. It is no coincidence that the only trophy of the second Allegri management (the 2023-2024 Coppa Italia) bears the signature of Vlahovic himself, decisive in the final against Atalanta.
