"TJ Shorts was wrong to say no to Milan"

“Milan would have been perfect for TJ Shorts”: in an interview with the Euro Insiders podcast, former Fenerbahce now at Galatasaray Errick McCollum criticized his compatriot’s choice to move to Panathinaikos instead of Italy.
“There were other teams that would have paid figures close to Panathinaikos. Olympiacos, Olimpia Milan. Milan would have been perfect for him. If I were him, I would have accepted less money in order to go to Milan. They needed a point guard. They needed someone to hold the ball. They needed a leader. That was a struggling team.”
“It’s hard to go to a team that has had success. If you go to a team that has been too successful, they won’t make many changes. Why should Ataman change? They just won the EuroLeague last year. Kendrick Nunn was MVP. The year before, they lost in the semifinals to the EuroLeague champions. They have always been in contention,” are the words reported by Real Olimpia Milano.
TJ Shorts has experienced an underwhelming season and is expected to leave at the end of the season: Maccabi would also be on him.
