Tour of the Alps: Lennart Jasch wins in Trento, Giulio Pellizzari remains leader but lead is minimal

German rider Lennart Jasch of the Tudor Pro Cycling Team was victorious in the fourth and penultimate stage of the Tour of the Alps 2026, which took the peloton from Arco to Trento at the end of a very challenging 167.8-kilometer route, especially in the first half of the stage, in which the cyclists had to tackle the first-category climbs of Passo Bordala and Passo Redebus.
Jasch, who arrived alone at the finish line, was ahead in the stage classification of Matteo Sobrero of Lidl Trek, who came in at 10″, and Federico Iacomoni of Team Ukyo, third at 11″. The group of ranking men, ruled by Florian Stork (teammate of the stage winner), also included green jersey Giulio Pellizzari, who retains the lead in the ranking with one stage still to go.
The Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe’s Marche climber’s lead, however, is minimal: in fact, just 4 seconds ahead of Thymen Arensman and Egan Bernal (both of Ineos Grenadiers), while teammate Aleksandr Vlasov is fourth at 6″ and Mattia Gaffuri, riding for Team Picnic Post NL, is fifth at 15″.
Friday will therefore see the final stage, from Trento to Bolzano of 128.6 kilometers: two mountain grand prix, with the second-category climb to Alta di Caldaro after 54.5 kilometers (4.6 kilometers of ascent at 6.2 percent average gradient) and the first-category climb (12.7 kilometers at 7.1 percent, last 3,000 meters at 8 percent) to Montoppio, which will end when there are about 35 kilometers to go to the finish.
