Crucial victory for Luciano Spalletti’s Juventus in Lecce: the Bianconeri narrowly beat the Giallorossi 1-0 thanks to a goal in the very first seconds of the game by Dusan Vlahovic. With this victory, the Old Lady momentarily overtakes AC Milan moving to third place on 68 points, +4 from fifth-place Roma. Di Francesco’s team remains fourth-last at + 4 from the relegation zone.

Juventus struck coldly with Vlahovic, scoring after just 12 seconds: the Serbian on Cambiaso’s cross with a great left-footed shot after overtaking Tiago Gabriel pierced Falcone immediately scoring the Bianconeri’s lead. The Salentini responded immediately by engaging Di Gregorio with Cheddira, while the Old Lady came close to doubling the score with Conceiçao, who hit the post in the 5′ minute of play. After the start with fireworks, the match developed at a high pace, in the final half Vlahovic did not take advantage of Tiago Gabriel’s mistake by sending high over the crossbar.

In the second half Vlahovic had his doubling goal cancelled due to offside at 48′, at 59′ Kalulu’s goal was instead cancelled, again due to the Serbian’s irregular position. Spalletti’s team continues to push in any case, Yildiz is inaccurate under goal at 69′. In the final minutes of the match Juve retreats and the hosts have two chances with N’Dri and Pierotti, Di Gregorio is careful.

The result doesn’t change anymore despite the frantic minutes of recovery, the Bianconeri take three important points in Lecce and give a clear signal in the sprint for the Champions League.
