Dino Zoff’s verdicts: "Inter deserved, Roma is doing a great job"

Dino Zoff, a legend of Italian soccer, won the Scudetto six times and the Coppa Italia on two occasions (always with Juventus). In short, he knows about victories, considering that he lifted, as captain, the World Cup in 1982. The former goalkeeper, exclusively for Sportal.it, dwelt on several hot topics, starting with Inter being Italian Champions and also winning the Coppa Italia.
Dino, what do you think of Inter’s season? Did it deserve the doblete?
“Certainly, there is nothing to say about it. It showed that it had something more than all the others. His continuity has been important and has made the difference.”
Lautaro Martinez symbolic man of the Nerazzurri season. Also the best player in Serie A?
“I don’t know if he was the best player but, for sure, he was the leader of Inter. He always put his face on it, for better or worse. A true leader.”
We are now in the final sprint for the last two Champions League spots. What are your feelings?”
“It will be difficult for everyone. Personally, I had a good impression of Roma. It did a great job and it was not easy. Now the last step is missing, which is always the most difficult one. However Gasperini really did a great job.”
