Milan market, the first shot of the summer is on the way: already talked to Allegri

Acc Milan is about to close the first deal of the summer. Massimiliano Allegri’s renewal has yet to be confirmed, but the Livorno coach’s position has been enormously strengthened after the victory in Genoa and the coach could armor his bench in case of qualification to the next Champions League: the next match with Cagliari will be important, but in the meantime the coach already sends clear indications for the summer market.
The Diavolo is about to land an important blow that will embellish the midfield at Allegri’s disposal: Leon Goretzka, whose contract with Bayern Munich is expiring. The Milanese club has reached an agreement with the player, who is waiting for the Champions League qualification to be made official before signing, but in the meantime has already said okay to the Rossoneri’s proposal.
Goretzka, who has already spoken to Allegri, is ready to put pen to paper on the three-year, €5 million-a-season contract. He will be employed in midfield alongside Luka Modric and Adrien Rabiot. Having sorted out the middle department, the Rossoneri will go on the hunt for a central defender and a prolific forward.
Goretzka’s profile perfectly meets Allegri’s needs: the German national, born in 1995, guarantees reliability in both the defensive and offensive phases, characteristics that the Livorno coach had already identified as a priority after the success of the Modric operation. With Bayern Munich, Goretzka has amassed a respectable palmarès: 17 trophies in Bavaria, including seven German championships and a Champions League in 2020. In 67 appearances with Germany, he participated in the 2018 and 2022 World Cups and the 2020 European Championships, confirming himself as a staple of the German national team, so much so that he has also been called up for the 2026 World Cup in North America.
