Olimpia Milano: Tonut and Flaccadori always on the bench, fans are divided

Olimpia Milano is set to take on Germani Brescia at home. The series, currently at 1-1, moves to Milan for Game 3 and Game 4, scheduled for Wednesday, June 3, and Friday, June 5. No doubt about who Coach Poeta will target.

Since the start of the playoffs, the red-and-white coach has made his choices: out of the call-ups Booker and Dunston. Then, space for very specific rotations, with Tonut and Flaccadori always on the bench (apart from a few minutes in garbage time). Coach Poeta has decided to bet on 10 players and, with those, he wants to go all the way.

Coach Poeta’s stance is dividing the Red and White people. There are those who agree with the coach, pointing out that only he has the pulse of the situation within the team and that it is easier to rotate 10 players instead of 12.

Then, having so many outside players, it is clear that Tonut and Flaccadori are penalized.

There are, however, those who think Poeta is wrong. Two professionals of the caliber of Tonut and Flaccadori, always ready to give their all when called upon, deserve more space and not to enter pure garbage time. The coach’s life has never been easy, especially in Milan.
