Milan Transfer Market: There Are Still Two Alternatives to Oliver Glasner

There’s just over a month to go until summer training camp, but the new Milan is still a work in progress. After the old management was ousted, the Rossoneri must finalize their corporate and technical structure, starting with the positions of CEO, technical director, sporting director, and head coach.
The top priority remains the appointment of the technical director. Ralf Rangnick remains at the top of the list; he met with Cardinale, Calvelli, and Ibrahimovic in Vienna in recent days. An agreement, however, has not yet been reached: the German coach, currently the head coach of Austria, is considering renewing his contract with the federation and is demanding full operational autonomy.
If an agreement is reached, the top candidate for the head coaching position would be Oliver Glasner, who has already prioritized Milan and reportedly has a draft agreement for a two-year contract. In recent hours, however, his candidacy has lost some ground. The alternatives Matthias Jaissle and Ruben Amorim also remain in the running. For the former, new contacts are planned to assess his departure from Al Ahli, while the Portuguese coach has been approached directly by the Rossoneri management.
Today will be decisive: Cardinale aims to untangle the main issues and finalize the key figures for Milan’s new era.
