Sports are an ambassador for values and solidarity. The LND’s CSR Department announces a partnership with Oxfam, a global leader in humanitarian aid and the fight against inequality, which will serve as the official Charity Partner of the 2026 Beach Soccer Tour.

Specifically, the agreement involves a concrete initiative that puts those taking the field at the center of the effort: for every goal scored during all matches, 5 packets of water purification tablets will be donated. This initiative thus becomes a vital resource for populations affected by severe humanitarian crises, where access to clean water is the first line of defense against disease and mortality.

“The Amateur League’s commitment and focus are on making sport a multiplier of social value”– states Luca De Simoni, LND CSR Area Coordinator – and through this collaboration with an authoritative partner like Oxfam, whom we thank, we are laying the groundwork for tangible aid for those in extremely vulnerable conditions. “Thanks also go to the teams that have joined this initiative with enthusiasm and a desire to contribute and be part of a community that seeks to support those in need.”

The official Beach Soccer circuit, which travels through Italy’s most prestigious seaside venues, becomes a platform for raising awareness among the public and athletes. The goals scored in the matches will carry a significance that extends far beyond the playing field.

“We firmly believe that sport and its values can become a driving force for solidarity, and for this reason we want to thank the LND CSR department,” adds Marta Pieri, Head of the Private Sector Engagement Office at Oxfam Italia – Thanks to this wonderful initiative, we will be able to provide concrete aid to communities affected by the most severe humanitarian emergencies of our time, in countries ravaged by conflict and the impact of the climate crisis, which is causing devastating droughts. Places where access to clean water is constantly at risk and on which the survival of so many depends.”
