The Serie A transfer window has just closed. It was a dramatic finale that brought some big last-minute signings and, of course, a few disappointments as well. We’ll talk about it again in January. In reality, while Europe’s top leagues—such as Serie A, the Premier League, La Liga, Ligue 1, and the Bundesliga—have “closed their doors,” there are countries where the transfer window is still open.

As for Europe, keep an eye on Turkey and Portugal. The Turkish transfer window closes on September 4, so there’s still time for a few last-minute deals. The Portuguese window closes the following day. Today, however, is the last day of trading in the Netherlands and Norway (it closes tomorrow in Belgium and Austria).

In Greece, however, the window remains open until the very end—specifically, September 15. This is a significant opportunity for those who have left things to the last minute.

Naturally, there is intense interest surrounding the transfer deadline in Saudi Arabia. The final day is September 6. There are a few more days to make deals in Brazil and Mexico (the transfer window for both leagues is set to close on September 11).
