Everything You Need to Know About the 2026 LBA Super Cup: Where, When, and Who’s Playing

The new basketball season is just around the corner. The first official event of the season will be the 2026 LBA Super Cup. It is scheduled for the weekend of September 19–20 at the Nova Arena in Tortona. Four teams will take part: Bertram Derthona Tortona, Umana Reyer Venezia, Armani Olimpia Milano, and Virtus Bologna.

Accompanying the event will be the “Trophy Tour,” during which the Super Cup will travel to the home cities of the four participating teams in the days leading up to the event.

Last year, Armani Olimpia Milano lifted the trophy (defeating Germani Brescia). The Milan club currently holds the record for most Super Cup victories, tied with Mens Sana Siena (six each). Close behind them is Virtus Bologna, which has won four Italian Super Cups (out of 13 finals played).

Saturday, September 19 – Semifinals
5:00 p.m. – Bertram Derthona Tortona vs. Umana Reyer Venezia
7:45 p.m. – Armani Olimpia Milano vs. Virtus Bologna
Sunday, September 20, 5:00 p.m. – Final
